Accommodation at Barchi: a cosy nest in the midst of nature

Dazzling views, a relaxing atmosphere and every comfort await you in one of our newly renovated baita mountain houses nestled in unspoilt nature and far from the madding crowds in the picturesque hamlet of Barchi. Sitting right on the ski slopes and next to the chair lift, the baita are cosy, inviting nests in winter and the perfect base for spectacular excursions throughout the valley and along the Alta Via della Valmalenco hiking route in summer.
Each baita can accommodate up to 12 people and is divided into four apartments. They are available in both summer and winter, for short or longer stays.

Useful information: In winter the baita can only be accessed via the chairlift or on ski – not by car.
Check-in is from 1.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and check-out is from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
To avoid having to leave your accommodation too often, we recommend that you stock up on supplies in the lower villages (Chiesa in Valmalenco or San Giuseppe) as the apartments are located on the slopes of the Barchi hamlet and there are no shops in the vicinity.

Two-room apartments with queen bedroom, day zone with kitchen space, four-person table, double sofa bed, chaise longue (single bed).

Conditions and discounts

Check-in
Check-in and check-out are processed at the Funivia la Bernina (aerial cable car) ticket office in Chiesa in Valmalenco (T: +39 0342 451284).
Check-in time: 1.00 p.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Guests will be asked for a valid form of ID upon arrival.
During the check-in and check-out times, the round-trip transfer from Alpe Palù or San Giuseppe to the apartments is via the Pedrana – Barchi – Palù chairlift, no later than 4.15 p.m.

Check-out
Check-out time: 9.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m.
Your check-out time must be arranged at check-in.

We recommend that you drive up to San Giuseppe, where you will be introduced to the facilities and services by the friendly staff.
We also recommend that you stock up on supplies in the lower villages (Chiesa in Valmalenco or San Giuseppe) as the apartments are located on the slopes of the Barchi hamlet and there are no shops in the vicinity. If you arrive outside the check-in and check-out times, you are welcome to leave your luggage in the office at the foot of the Pedrana – Barchi – Palù chairlift.

Parking: There is parking at the Funivia aerial cable car in Chiesa in Valmalenco or at the chairlift in San Giuseppe.
Getting around: The Pedrana – Barchi – Palù chairlift offers easy access to the apartments.

Lunch: 10% discount at I Campanacci – Loc. Alpe Palù restaurant, where you can order cooked meals on presentation of your accommodation booking voucher.
Dinner: A short walk from the apartments are Rifugio Barchi (T: +39 0342 452080) and Ristorante La Güsa (T: +39 338 7296267), and you can also order takeaway food from the I Campanacci – Loc. Alpe Palù restaurant up until 3.00 p.m.
Skipasses: Approx. 10% discount at the Chiesa in Valmalenco and/or San Giuseppe ticket offices on presentation of your accommodation booking voucher.
